Happy St. Patrick's Day! It's funny, this is NOT a big holiday here on the Left Coast. At least, not from what I can tell. St. Patty's Day is HUGE in Chicago! I miss some of that hoopla: the parade, green foods (and beer), a green Chicago River...
And I'm not even Irish! I'm Scottish... is that close enough? Everyone's a little bit Irish on St. Patrick's Day, I suppose. I dutifully wore my green as to avoid getting pinched. You know, I like green. I think I look good in green (it's all about the eyes, yo), but I hardly own ANY green! I wore one shirt yesterday, and today for work I had a skirt that has green as part of the pattern. Now that I'm all changed out of work clothes, I have a green t-shirt, but really. Not too much green in my closet. Weird.
