All we need now is a parade...

Lots going on this week! We had a barbeque on Sunday with some friends, which was fun. Yesterday was Gen's birthday (happy belated!). Happy Birthday also to Frank! And Em? You're in my thoughts. Hope all is well.

Big changes for me. I'm starting a new job at a new office today, a promotion. It's bittersweet, because as exciting (and scary!) as it is, I'm sad to be leaving my old office. I love the employees and the customers, and it really was a job I enjoyed going to every day. It was a very difficult decision to leave that environment. Because of staffing issues at the new office (branch manager out on medical leave, supervisor and long-time teller leaving Friday, brand new banker), I didn't get to give a two-week notice. I mean, it's the same company, but I would have liked those two weeks to mentally transition. As it was, I accepted the position Thursday afternoon, told the staff Friday morning, and yesterday was my last day. That's... fast. Really fast. So it's kind of a shock to the system, I guess. The staffing issues are scary. But it's a new challenge and I'm excited about that. :)

Ahahahaha!

This is one of the funniest videos I have seen in forever: The Evolution of Dance. From Elvis to the Brady Bunch, the Village People to MC Hammer, Michael Jackson, NSYNC, Eminem and Outkast and a whole lot in between, it's great. The guy is hysterical! Go watch, laugh, love. Hee!

Also, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SHELLEY! Hope it was fantastic. :)

Broadway, Baby

Tickets to Les Miserables have been purchased. I adore that show!

Then I looked at the Pantages Theatre's website, and their line-up for this year includes:
Stomp
Hairspray
Les Miserables
Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat
RENT
Dirty Rotten Scoundrels
The Lion King

I'll be darned if I don't want to see more than half of those! This all comes back to that Unlimited Money thing. It would be so nice, wouldn't it? Yep.

Okay, I got nothin'. I lead a boring existance.
