This is another one of the projects my dad completed while he was out here a few weeks ago: drawers in the pantry. The pantry is deeper than altogether necessary, and these drawers help maximize the space. And also, prevent us from losing things in the back. (Oh, and look, a pink-for-breast-cancer cookbook! Ha! I forgot I owned that.)
