Wandering Aimlessly

Sean's 28th birthday (don't be fooled by the '26' candles; they were in the bag of birthday supplies, and someone thought a '26' with two regular candles would do) was Friday, and we had a little surprise party on Saturday. It's kind of an awful feeling, before the party, when you let your friend think no one cares about his birthday! When I called him to wish him a happy birthday, I had to pretend to be too busy to celebrate. And then I hear that he was all mopey, and it made for a better surprise, but still.

He had absolutely no idea. He came home from grocery shopping, and we were waiting for him with balloons and cake, and then we went out for sushi, and it was fun! I think it made up for everyone 'not caring'.
