I am SO about to collapse right now. I went hiking at Fryman this morning. It was a gorgeous day--not too hot, blue sky, breezy. So many people were out with their dogs that for perhaps the first time, I wished I had a dog! (I'm usually just as happy to play with others people's dogs, and then go home to my cats.)
Since it was so nice, I decided not to go back to the car by way of the neighborhoods, even though there are some really gorgeous, amazing houses back there, and ended up turning around and going back up over the hill instead. My only mistake was starting this return trek at around 12:30 when the not-too-hot morning sun became a noontime sun and eliminated what little shade there was to begin with.
I treated myself to Studio Yogurt (strawberry, yum!) on my way home, which melted all over me and my car (luckily only the cup holder the container was sitting in, which was an easy clean-up). Messy Bessie here!
