I've been living in this apartment for a year. Admittedly, I don't go in and out the front gate very often (I usually go through the parking area), but I'm a little surprised at myself that I never noticed this light hanging right above the gate. The ivy is creeping upwards and hanging down around it, so maybe I was distracted by that. I am, apparently, not very observant.
