Yikes....$50 EACH DAY? oh dear goodness, well...um...if I had to choose JUST one...are they gonna be at the 21+ After party and fan appreciation dinner, cause if so that would be kinda nice, but then again who knows...i would love to see the game as well, ummm that sucks, grrr, what do you think?

::whimpers:: I've kinda sorta got a free-ish ticket to Florida ... but ... hot hot hot ick ... but ... PUPPIES ...

C - I knew it would be an each day thing. I'm thinking one day sounds good to me, maybe two if we make lots of moolah. Lol. I'm so torn on stuff! That skills challenge looks like fun... dunk tanks? Wet JC? heehee. But that afterparty, if they're gonna be there (and why wouldn't they be?)... damn. That would be my first choice if they're gonna be there. I actually probably care least about the game, but it would be fun to see. =/ We'll have to talk.

Alicia - a free-ish ticket? Dude. You're all set. Forget about the heat. Or don't... heat produces sweaty boys, especially when they're playing basketball *g* And you have GOT to teach me how you get all this free stuff!!

LOL! Free-ish because I paid for it already, mostly. See, I booked my ticket to Florida (for the Ft. Lauderdale and Orlando shows) on a redeye Friday night, and then later I decided I had to get in Friday; Saturday noon just wasn't gonna work. It would've cost me more than the price of the original ticket to change the one I had, so I just used frequent flyer miles and got a whole new set of flights. Which leaves me with a $200 credit at Orbitz that I can use toward a flight of $300 or more. Essentially. I think.

So. Free-ish, but not in that "I get airlines to give me free stuff" way. I wish!

You folks up for an old lady hangin' wit' ya?

Free-ish is good enough. =) And you're more than welcome to join us! In fact, that would be a lot of fun. *g* And with your luck as it relates to the Guys, I'm sure it would turn out to be an adventure. We need to figure out finances and which days we want to go to, yadda yadda yadda. Any thoughts on the matter?

1. Aww, you're so sweet. Trust me, I'll act like I'm twelve. Um, in that good way. ;-)

2. If I'm flying 3000 miles, I'm going all three days. I mean, what else would I do in Orlando? The only reason I wouldn't go all three days would be if I wanted to fly in Friday instead of Thursday (one less day off work). But still. That seems kinda dumb.

3. The Marriott across the street is only $80 a night. (And, y'know, *just across the street* is worth a lot!) I reserved a room just to be on the safe side. I love the fact that hotel reservations *aren't* nonrefundable.

Do you know how tickets work for this thing? Is it the same as buying a ticket for any other event? Assigned seats and whatnot? I'm curious.

I'd love to go all three days, but I'll really have to look at the monetary situation. I did just spend a WHOLE lotta $$ on two concerts. *g*

And for the hotel, if "location, location, location" isn't what you're ultimately looking for, I *might* be able to get a discount on a Disney hotel. Depending on what "season" they're in, etc, discounts vary, but I can look into it if you want.

I haven't been to CFTC before, but from what Shay and Amanda said, yeah, it's assigned seats, you want to buy when they first go on sale, etc. I hear you about the lots of $$ on concerts (though I was incredibly fortunate there, I have to admit--plus, of course, I work for a living and thus have more disposable income than I did when I was in college).

As far as the hotel goes--I figure if you take $80 a night and split it four ways (as I'm certainly hoping to do), it ain't so bad. And being able to run across the street to change, freshen up, etc. is a *big* plus.

Shay and Amanda are (I think) pretty definitely going to CFTC, so I'm waiting to hear if they've already got all the roomies they want... And I really haven't convinced myself I can/should do this, of course. But. PUPPIES!

I don't know about can, but I think I can pull for should. *g* Cuz... pretty boys! I'm getting all excited about it, and it's still almost three months away.

So any word of advice from your friends on what the most fun things to see are? Skills challenge vs. game? Right now I'm pulling for the party first (if they're going to be there), and then one of the others if I get to see two (so I need help on which one's the most fun), and of course, if I can afford all three, I'll be there. =)

Unfortunately, Amanda's having Life Crap right now, and Shay's computer died, so she's not online much. But I'll ask, and if I get any advice I'll definitely pass it along!

I'm definitely with you on the PARTY! ::fingers crossed::

Oh, fudge. I just had this long comment typed in and I accidentally deleted it. ::sigh::

Short version: Shay says the skills challenge is definitely more entertaining than the b-ball. That makes sense to me.

She also said there'll probably be room for me to share with them, so I guess now I need to figure out if I can afford to take those days off work ... meep! Meep!

I hate when that happens, deleting comments. =/

Wheee!! I figured the Skills Challenge might be more fun than the game. I would like to see the game, though. This is when I *really* need to balance my checkbook to see just how much money I have. Lol.

But what fun! I hope you can get off work, because with everything else going for ya, I'd hate it if it didn't work out because of one little detail. *g*
