Artwork and accomplishments...

Look at that, my blog went blank again. *laugh* It kind of amuses me when it does that. I wonder what the time frame for taking away all my "recent" posts is. Hmmm...

So. Obviously, nothing exciting has been going on. I have lots of things rattling around in my head, and it's kind of to that overwhelming stage where I can't motivate myself to start anything, because everything feels so daunting and HUGE. Ack!

*takes a few calming breaths*

So I had a really kind of big "thing" happen at work. A good "thing". An accomplishment. It's a customer I've been working with for almost a year, and because of the "relationship building" I've done... well, let's just say he brought me an amount of money with six zeros. Behind the number six. Never in my life have I seen a check so large! The whole thing was rather exciting. But that's probably all I should say about that. Heh.

I've also been doing a lot of drawing lately. I don't usually post this stuff here, but what the heck. Poor blog's been entirely neglected lately. Click on the thumbnail for the full-sized version.

Dom Monaghan. This one is, quite possibly, my favorite drawing ever. Did it while talking on the phone with dear Tammers. I should apologize for being somewhat distracted... But anyway. I'm a bit proud of it.

Orlando Bloom. Less happy with this, because there was lots and lots of drawing and erasing and redrawing. On top of frustration with the scanner, amongst other things. So. Not my favorite, but if you don't look at the picture it was drawn from, it's not as bad. ;o)

Dom again. An experiment with a completely different style of drawing. It turned out alright, but I don't think I'll be doing much of this thing... took to darn long.

Elijah Wood. Can't forget him! Again, not really all that proportionate with the original picture, but eh. Can't say I'm totally happy with this, but I'm also not about to go back in and mess around with it. Done with that kind of aggrevation. *laugh*

And now, it is painfully obvious that I've been on a total Lord of the Rings kick of late. Always something with me, isn't there? *wink*
